Business Administration for Security Professionals

This course has a total duration of 40 hours, made up of 20 academic hours and
another 20 hours dedicated to studying the material and exam tests for each of the Modules. The course  is a meant to serve as a guide and source of relevant business information for security and other professionals , because all of us need to know what my business actually expected me to accomplish.
Managers and those responsible for a Division, Department or work area ,must necessarily be a specific technical specialist in their task or profession, but also a “business managers”.
Managers who understand business are best positioned to collaborate with top management and to turn their departments into valuable corporate resources that support organizational success. In any business, people work and interact to produce a product, service, or both. This interaction leverages the labor of individuals to enable the business to realize a net profit that supports investors, managers, customers, and employees.
At some point a business must determine the type of product or service to sell and how to develop, deliver, and finance that output. To manage this process successfully, managers and owners must employ practices that support the goals of their business.

  • Chapter 9 -  BUILDING AN ORGANIZATION CAPABLE OF GOOD STRATEGY EXECUTION

  • Chapter 10 - MANAGING INTERNAL OPERATIONS: PROMOTING GOOD STRATEGY EXECUTION

  • Chapter 11 - CORPORATE CULTURE

  • Chapter 12 - KEY BUSINESS MEASUREMENTS AND METRICS

OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to became a “effective manager” and  be recognized within your organization as business partners and know how to understand and develop metrics that define success and support business decisions. Ultimately these practices aim to define business success not only in the near term, but also over the life of the business through quantifiable metrics.​
