Hernando is a reference in Security in Uruguay. He has a multidisciplinary profile in terciary education in four disciplines and multiple experiences in the public and private sector in Uruguay, as well as in other countries in South America and Africa:

Expert in public and private security, with the most accredited Certification in the Sector called “CPP, which recognizes people who have demonstrated advanced knowledge in providing security solutions, based on best business practices.
Degree in Management and Administration, with Postgraduate degrees in Human Resources at the ORT University and studies in Sociology and Organized Crime.
He is a retired military officer, with experience in drug trafficking in LATAM and in Africa as a UN Observer.
Current Director of the Professional School of Security of the SECURITAS Institute, which is a Preferred Training Provider of ASIS International and author of several Diplomas and Courses.
Coordinator of the PINKERTON Research Services in the country.
He is one of the Founders of Chapter 284 of ASIS INTERNATIONAL, the main organization of security professionals in the world.
Current Vice President of the OSAC Committee of the US Embassy in Montevideo.
Co-director, together with journalist Daniel Castro, of the weekly space "Vivir Seguros" on Radio Carve.
